hahaha.... YES! You guessed it right, Bir. Met up with this new guy friend for the first time, and he looks FAR from his pic on the net. (so do I.... nice from far, far from nice, hur-hur..) And somehow the magic just flew out the window. Geez, I'm so shallow. hahaha..... but really... I've made the SAME mistake again of expecting more than mere friendship. Hence the disappointment. It's just human, right? *girly-giggles*
But, it is again, further reinforced that you SHOULD meet up with people before getting excited about them. Over MSN or YM chats, it can be pretty fun and interesting connecting mind-to-mind - each building a fantasized version of the person you're 'talking' to... Yet when 2 finally meet... they might either bore each other to death or tearing at each other's neck in no time. hur-hur-hur....
